Whisper WHI100 / WHI200 |
|
The Whisper 200 system, formerly known as the Whisper H80, was expanded in 2005 to include new functional features, and now offers more flexible solutions which allow your wind power station to be configured to your individual specifications. The new technology allows voltage adjustments to be made on site and within a matter of minutes for any system of the type Whisper 200 (12–48 VDC). The Whisper 200 is designed for operation at locations with low to medium average wind speeds of 3.1 m/s and higher. At an average wind speed of 5.4 m/s the Whisper 200 has a monthly yield of over 158 kWh or 3.4 kWh per day. As regards the problem of noise pollution, the Whisper 100 system is one of the quietest wind power stations tested by the US National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL).
Characteristics
- The patented angle control system protects the station from high wind speeds by turning the alternating current generator and the rotor blades sideways to the wind.
- The angle control system enables the Whisper to maintain maximum output power at all wind speeds.
- With its reduced rotor surface area, the WHI-100 is ideal for use at continuously high wind speeds.
- The WHI-100 has a monthly yield of 100 kWh at an average wind speed of 5.4 m/s.
- The WHI-200 has a monthly yield of 158 kWh at an average wind speed of 5.4 m/s.
